Thunderstorms
.
My mind has thunderstorms,
That brood for heavy hours;
Until they rain me words,
My thoughts are drooping flowers
And sulking, silent birds.
.
Yet come, dark thunderstorms,
And brood your heavy hours;
For when you rain me words,
My thoughts are dancing flowers
And joyful, singing birds.
. . .
Tormentas
.
Agarra mi mente a las tormentas
que se inquietan para horas pesadas.
Hasta que me “llueven” con palabras,
Mis ideas son flores caídas o
Bichos mudos y hoscos.
.
Pero acérquense, tormentas oscuras,
Para inquietarse esas horas arduas…
Porque cuando me “llueven” con palabras,
Vienen ideas florecientes que bailan, y
Pájaros dichosos que cantan.
. . . . .
